The Giving of the Green - Saint Patrick's Day Centerpiece for your Table
www.graphicsfairy.blogspot.com

Here's a fun little project for St. Patrick's Day, a pretty green centerpiece for your table. It makes a great hostess gift too!

The supplies you will need are:

White Card Stock
Green Glitter
Dimensional Glue - Like Mod Podge
Hot Glue
Wooden Stick (I used a long lollipop stick from Michaels)
Burlap
A rubber band
A Green Plant

First decorate the base of the planter by wrapping it with burlap. You can do this by cutting a large circle out of the burlap and then use the rubber band to secure it to the pot. Next, just tuck the edges of the burlap into the rubber band.

Print the PDF onto the white card stock (make sure you use your "Best Quality" setting on your computer) and cut out the images. You can use a different graphic on each side, like I did, or you can make each side the same.

Apply the dimensional glue to the areas that you would like to add some sparkle too. The dimensional glue sort of puffs up the glitter and adds some texture to the piece.

Sprinkle your glitter onto the glued areas, and allow to dry. Don't forget to pour the excess glitter back in to the bottle so you can reuse it!

Hot glue your stick to the back of one of the cards. Then glue both cards together. Afterwards you might need to add a little more dimensional glue and a tad more glitter to the edges, just to finish it off nicely.

No you have a nice centerpiece for your St Patricks table, or something green and lovely to give to a hostess!
